OGame Planet Builder v2

A couple of years ago a new bot appeared by the name of OGame Planet Builder. Back then I posted about it, and while at first it looked like a very promising tool, it was soon discovered it may be stealing user's passwords and what not.

A new version of OGPB is in the works by a couple of folks. The authors claim it does not and never will steal password or anything like that, so it's probably "safe" to use (don't forget no bot is 100% safe, Gameforge is like an ugly fat chick just waiting to catch you!).

For more details about the features visit the OGPBv2 forum.

The tool is currently in beta and you can apply for testing on their forum, as well as submit your own suggestions. Personally I can't try out the bot and don't know how and if it works, but you're welcome to check it out. With your help it might get released sooner rather than later, so go ahead and visit OGPBv2 forums and apply for beta testing.

Just don't get caught ;)

OGame Bodyguard

OGame Bodyguard is a new bot which is so far completely free, and appears to have more features than any other bot so far. It has possibly everything you will need from a OGame bot, including:

  • Fleetsave - if an attack occurs, this bot can automatically send away your fleet and resources, as well as start production of ships to save any extra resources
  • Automatic building and research - it can build a planet or a fleet all by itself as soon as necessary resources are available. It also supports simulation so you can see and calculate exactly what and how you want to build. Looks like it has everything OGame Planet Builder was supposed to have (which is discontinued for some time now).
  • Auto attacks - OGame Bodyguard can send attacks and farm planets even when you're not around
  • Fight simulator - it can can simulate attacks so you don't have to use any other programs for it. Although it's risky, you can also use it with the auto attack feature.
OGame Bodyguard supports all localized OGame versions, as well as multiple accounts, meaning it should be safe to login with more than one account as long as they are on different universes. You will most certainly be banned if you play two accounts in the same universe with this bot. It does have an overview window which clearly shows production and resources on all of your planets, as well as a feature to manage your messages. I tested the automatic building and it worked fine, and it doesn't appear to be stealing your passwords which is always a good thing.

You can see a full list of features here or get the bot now!

OWaechter - OGame RSS Reader

Unlike OGam3r RSS Reader, this one is free, but only works on ogame.de.

The program will conveniently nest in your system tray and notify you of any scans, transports, attacks etc.

There's also a number of features planned like battle report archives, startup options, remote warnings and more.

I hope it will work soon on ogame.org and other localized versions. You can check OWaechter website for more info and download. There's also a forum available if you have any questions.

OGam3r RSS Reader

The OGam3r RSS Reader will retrieve your ingame messages via RSS feed, and notify you of any events, such as spying or attacks on your planet.

You can check here to see how it looks and read more about it.

It would be nice to see some other features, like sending emails when you're being attacked, or status of production/research or similar. Or at least combine the author's other project, OGame Ninja Timer with this.

Of course, it's not free: you'll have to dish out $10 to use it for 3 months, so it may not look so appealing, but if this is something you've been looking for, you're welcome to check it out.
I can't try it out so I got no idea if and how exactly it works, so don't blame me if it turns out to be something you didn't expect. For any concerns you might have I recommend mailing the author and asking him.

Kovan's OGBot Modified

Since official Kovan's OGBot doesn't work anymore, you can download this modified bot which works with OGame 0.77c.
It has pretty much the same features, but also a number of new ones, including some which will hopefully make it harder for game operators to detect it.

You can find the changelog and some additional info on ondealfa.free.fr, or get support on Kovan's OGBot forums.

Since I stopped playing like 8 months ago (phew, so long), I haven't been much active as far as OGame is concerned, so I'm pretty much out of the loop on most of the things. Thanks to a kind reader that pointed my attention to this! Due to the lack of accounts I can't test if and how this customized OGbot works, but judging by the activity and support on OGBot forums it seems it works well. It's pretty simple when it comes to configuring it, and you should be pillaging thy fellow players for resources in no time.

ProxyWay - Find proxy servers for OGame

I wrote about using proxy servers to hide your multiaccounts before, but here's a tool that will make the process of finding fast and reliable proxy servers much easier.

ProxyWay provides anonymous surfing and allows you to hide/change IP address from the web sites you visit. You can easily configure different browsers/applications to work through ProxyWay, it doesn't matter if you like Firefox or some other browser, the configuration is simple. You can even play OGame in a browser, while in the same time some bot does all the work on a different account. I won't get much into details about how to set it up here, since there's an awesome guide on ProxyWay website.
ProxyWay can also make your multiple OGame accounts even harder to detect by GO's since it can filter out proxy servers by country, so it can actually seem like you're playing from the same country - but you have a different IP.

There's a free version of ProxyWay; it may not be the best or the prettiest software out there, but it does it's job.

(Thanks to James for the tip!)

OGame Automizer

OGame Automizer, as the author says, is a client for OGame with some automated tasks, but not yet a bot. Anything with automated tasks is a bot, no?
Supposedly it is undetectable, because unlike other bots, this one emulates your browser requests.

Features (can also be found on OGame Automizer forum):
- Sound alerts, with customized sounds upon receiving new messages, attacks etc.
- Production Statistics
- Fleet movements
- Production and fleet overview of all planets
- Automized invest
- Automized transport fleet sending
- Player database
- Integrated Internet Browser

It requires Java to work, so make sure you have it if you can't run this bot.
The instructions can be found on OGame Automizer's site (if you can't open the page, check back in a few hours. Hopefully the downtimes will be fixed soon).

(Thanks for the tip, Thomas!)

OGame Ninja Timer

OGame Ninja Timer is a rather simple tool which will make it easier to determine the exact time when you need to send your fleet or recyclers.

From the author's website:

In OGame, there is a technique called the ninja. This requires precise timing, and I got sick of looking at my watch, or missing the right time. So, I wrote a program to time it for me.

This utility will beep for 1 minute before you need to send your fleet, 15 seconds before you need to send your recyclers and 10 seconds before the enemy fleet arrives.

The time when it tells you to send your fleets are offset. The ninja fleet is offset by the time it needs to arrive plus 10 seconds. That way, there is plenty of time for the page to load fully and have your ninja arrive a few seconds before the enemy's attacking fleet. The recycler timer is offset by it's fleet time plus 30 seconds.

It could use some work, especially on the design part, but the important thing is that it works. So if you find it usefull, go ahead and download it.

OGame Planet Builder

OGame Planet Builder is a new tool which was kindly pointed out to me in some comments.

It does exactly what the name says: you can define what to build and in what order, similar to the commander feature.
It only works for ogame.org for now, and it can't build anything on your colonies.

Perhaps with adding research queues to the mix this might become a popular tool to help you get that transporter in early stages of the game.

So far, it's all pretty basic but it seems the author would like to add more features so you're welcome to check his site (website no longer exists) and give him some ideas.

I got some of my own so I'll just throw it here from the top of my head:
- as mentioned, adding research queues and perhaps even ship queues would rock
- some sort of timer to show when the current building/research/ship will be finished
- I know it's not what this tool was made for, but I have yet to see a good alarm bot - while it's logged in your account and building stuff, would it be possible to check periodically if you're attacked and if so, send an e-mail/SMS/play a sound?
- adding some sort of template for building and researching when starting in a new universe. There's dozens of guides about how to build as fast as possible, but most of them require you to be online in the first 48 hours. Just imagine - you could actually get some sleep with this thing!

So there it is. What features would you like to see?

Note: this software may send your username and password to the author.

OGBot v2.2 - no longer free!

New version of OGBot was released, with nice features as usuall, but also with a surprise this time.
The compiled Windows version of the bot is no longer free. Source versions are still free, and I hope it will stay that way.

If you downloaded the latest compiled beta (which was virus free, yay!), you might get a message saying it's expired.
If you want the full benefits, you will have to pay now. The cost is 1-2 € depending on your country.

In my opinion, it's a small price to pay for what it has to offer (copied from OGBot news):

- Support for new OGame login page.
- Login loop fixed.
- Added random delays to simulate human behavior
- Configurable deuterium source planet
- Espionage reports can be copied to clipboard by right-clicking.
- Added chinese, danish, russian and dutch languages.
- New plugin system.
- Harder to detect by game admins.
- A lot less espionages are neccesary, hence less overall activity.
- Before attacks only one probe is sent.
- Much faster inactive planets search.
- Reserved slots are no longer filled with senseless espionages.
- Attacks and espionages from planets with no probes or cargos are deactivated for a while.
- Rush mode at midnight (attack new inactive planets as they are found if they are very rentable).
- Option to stop attacks before midnight, in order to free slots for rush mode.
- Daily inactives scan is now done ASAP each day.
- Any available cargo type is sent if the selected type of attacking fleet is not available.
- Source planet and last espionage time are now shown in the main window.
- Internal algorithms rewritten.
- Minor changes and fixes.
- New translation item added in language files.

Also, the Google Discussion Group is now moved to a new forum. It seems much more convenient this way.
Hopefully now when the bot is no longer free, Kovan will update more often and make it even better than it is.

Careful with new Kovan's

There's a lot of fuss lately going around Kovan's OGbot.
It seems Gameforge is constantly trying to disable it's functionality, as well as catch people that use it. I've even received an email yesterday stating that the latest version is infected with a virus. It was rather hard to believe it, but after scanning it myself I saw it contains a trojan. There are several reports about it on the discussion group as well. There's no official word about it yet, but I'd advise you to be careful about using it until it gets fixed.

OGBot Version 2.0.7

Kovan's bot got updated several hours ago - my first wish is granted - you can reserve slots for manual fleet save. Now, I'd like alarms and auto fleet save please :)
Several other minor bugs got fixed, but nothing too important. The author seems to respond to user requests daily, so if you have any issues or suggestions, it's likely it will be considered, and if possible, implemented in newer versions.

OGameAnalizer - Update

There's some news concerning OgameAnalizer bot. Unfortunately no new features, but I owe the author one so here it is:

- trial period is changed to one week
- it's possible to pay with Paypal now (price increased to $52 due to Paypal's commision)
- the website should be translated to english soon
- if you're interested an affiliate program, you can get a 30% comission for each sale

Kovan's OGBot 2

Version 2 of Kovan's OGBot was released a few days ago.
I wrote about it before but there are some cool new features:

- Now which planet will be attacked next is determined by a resource simulator that sorts target planets by quantity of potentially produced resources since last attack, and also taking distance into account.
- Possibility to choose which planet or planets are source of attacks. Moons are also allowed.
- Multi-language support. By now Spanish, English and Italian are included with the bot. To add one language just put the .ini file in the languages directory. Non-occidental languages should work also.
- Command line switch to have different configuration sets at once (example: --workdir uni18).
- Increases number of sent espionage probes until defense or buildings information is achieved.
- Redesigned user interface.
You can check out some screenshots or simply download it and try for yourself.
It's great work I must admit, and suprisingly free, but I'd like a few more features. First, auto fleet save when you're attacked, preferably with some sort of alarm (sound, e-mail) - sending your fleet and resources 2 minutes before the attack arrives, slowed down to 10% for less deut usage. Second, and very important, the bot should always leave 1 free fleet slot in case you get attacked. It might also be useful to alert when you receive a private message.
I tested it on ogame.org, and it didn't work at first. It just kept spying the planets and didn't send any attacks, and later, when I deleted the espionage database and changed attack radio (should be radius I guess) the bot was only spying one planet (although 6 more inactive planets were in range) and still no attacks were sent. Logs didn't help. Later on, I changed attack radio to 0 and it finally sent a couple of attacks. Anyway, I think I figured out what caused the issue: the planet it kept spying had a much higher level of espionage technology than me; the bot keeps spying until fleet and buildings can be seen but 16 probes wasn't enough. The attacks are on their way so I guess I won't be seeing any new issues ;) ... Oh, that reminds me, Launch web browser button ain't working for me. Hopefully it's only me.
I'm already looking forward to the new version, perhaps then I'll reconsider and start cheating.
Do you have any suggestions or features you would like to see in newer versions?

OgameAnalizer Bot

Most of the time, when starting in a new uni, it can be a tedious process to develop planets from zero. Unless you want to become a farm from the very beginning, you have to be online the entire time for the first couple of days. This is where OgameAnalizer steps in: it will build and research in your predefined order.
The tool consists of both web interface, which you can access with any browser and a client software, which is optional. After setting a few options, such as time to check status, and of course your username and password, the bot is ready to run. The most important feature, in my opinion, is auto fleet save and resource save, on either inactive planets, or debris fields.
OgameAnalizer is also integrated with Galaxy Tool and Ostat.org.
The author, Jeff, plans on making the bot to work with OgameClient only. Currently, the client can only view galaxy, events, fleet, and autospy. Although this bot is not completely translated to english, it can be on request. In the future, auto-save and auto-attack with battle simulation are planned.
There are several other features, you can read more about it on OgameAnalizer website. For those who don't understand russian, you can translate the page with Babelfish.
As far as I know, there are no known bugs. I tested it on ogame.org and it worked - at least for the building part. I didn't get to any ships to see how auto fleet save and other features work.
The bot has a price though. It will cost you $50, and a recurring payment of $10 every month, payable with WebMoney (for other payment options you should contact Jeff). You can also request a 2 week trial for $5.
Jeff used to be #1 in one universe; he is using the bot for a year now and he's still not banned - so I guess OgameAnalizer is worth the price - but that is entirely up to you to decide.

Small update here!

Ogame Auto Player

[Edit, 19.01.2007.]

Is seems the author can't be contacted and this is a waste of money.

Don't buy it!

[end edit]

Features:

  • Auto build mines in order solar plant, metal mine then crystal mine.
  • Warns when you receive espionage by sounding off a siren once.
  • Warns when beeing attacked by playing siren sound till you come back to the computer.
  • Auto ship out resources to your main base which is a very tedious task in ogame.
  • Option to turn of auto ship so can keep resources. (what's that?)
Unfortunately, the author doesn't respond to my e-mails so perhaps this cheat can't even be obtained. More bad news - it's not free. It will cost you $10 to get the bot. Whether it's worth it or not... I don't know. There's no screenshots, no updates. Looks fishy. If you want to try it though, check the website.

AutoIt

I won't write much about AutoIt since it's pretty much self explanatory.

AutoIt v3 is a freeware BASIC-like scripting language designed for automating the Windows GUI and general scripting. It uses a combination of simulated keystrokes, mouse movement and window/control manipulation in order to automate tasks in a way not possible or reliable with other languages (e.g. VBScript and SendKeys). AutoIt is also very small, self-contained and will run on 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, 2003 out of the box with no annoying "runtimes" required! You can even make compiled executable scripts that can run without AutoIt being installed!

AutoIt can:

  • Provide a general-purpose scripting language for all Windows versions
  • Simulate keystrokes (supports most keyboard layouts)
  • Simulate mouse movements and clicks
  • Move, resize and manipulate windows
  • Interact directly with "controls" on a window (set/get text from edit controls, check boxes and radio buttons, select items in drop-down lists, etc.)
  • Create complex user interfaces (GUIs)
  • Work with the clipboard to cut/paste text items
  • Provide a scriptable RunAs function for Windows 2000/XP/2003

It comes with an excellent documentation in russian, german, spanish, italian, and of course english. And if you get stuck you can easily get help on the forum.
AutoIt is free to download, and also features a script editor to help you write your own scripts.

Kovan's OGBot

Kovan's OGBot, although translated to english which I like for a change, works only on spanish ogame (ogame.com.es). Unfortunately, I'm far from Spain and don't have an account there so this is one more bot that I can't try.
So far, it can send attacks on inactive planets and has it's own espionage database. It may not seem much but judging by the screenshots it's doing it's job pretty good.
Hopefully someday the author will be kind enough to make it work on all localized ogame versions - unlikely though, it hasn't been updated in few months.
You can see more screenshots and download the bot from the author's site.
If anyone here plays on spanish universes, please tell me if it works or not. Thanks.

OGame Bot

Although I got this bot a couple of weeks ago, it was released to public today.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get this to work, mostly because I don't understand any french. And to be honest I didn't bother much either. I'm looking forward to the day when I will find a bot translated to english.
Anyway, I'll just list some features:

  • exporting galaxy map to OGSpy/Galaxytool
  • usage of proxy servers
  • emulation of human behaviour (mmm...)
  • auto fleet rescue (fleet save)
  • alarm when attacked (sound, external applications, url's ...)
There's a lot more features, but you'll have to figure it out yourself. You can use Babelfish to translate the page.
I'm really hoping for a good english translation of this software, it looks very promising so far.

Thanks to the author for giving me a head start ;)

later edit:
After some consideration I have decided to remove the links to author's website. He has a nice explanation on his site on how to steal people's accounts. Cheating is as far as I go. This is where I draw the line, in my opinion stealing other people's hard earned accounts is immoral and low.
However, I have uploaded the bot to Rapidshare and YourFileLink, you can download the bot there. If you are unable to download from those sources, post a comment and I will upload somewhere else.
The following mirrors are provided by the author:

http://www.karesh.org/ogame/final_public_331.zip

If the author has any objection he's welcome to contact me.

OGAL - OGame Alarm

OGAL is a OGame alarm tool which can send SMS messages when you are under attack.
It's damn usefull, but unfortunately only to polish UNI6 users. The author stopped developing the tool some time ago so there's little chance for the tool to support other languages and universes. I've e-mailed the author to see if he plans on adding new features, when and if I receive a reply it will be updated here.
(old download link removed)
I don't think a tool like this is hard to make, but then again I know almost nothing about programming. If some of you folks have the skills and some time to spare, this might be a nice idea for your next project.

Update:

After talking to the author, it has come to my attention that this tool is still under development, although not on Sourceforge, but on this polish Ogame forum.
You can download the latest version of OGAL and read more about it in this topic (most of you, including me won't understand much due to polish language). You also need to download a patch for OGAL in order for it to work.
The author claims it works for all world universes now, although I am unable to confirm that since my account on .org is only a few hours old :). I'll take his word for it.
It seems there are various options included in this version, including a feature that can launch external applications, for sending SMS messages or e-mails.
All in all, the tool looks awesome, although there is room for improvement.
I'm not sure if it can be traced or not, perhaps the author wishes to post a comment here to clarify that. Perhaps it should 'check' your account in random, customizable intervals, say every 2-5 minutes - I can't find that information.
The only thing I can't forgive is the lack of english translation and documentation. Hopefully that will be added soon.

Many thanks to Bojer, OGAL author, who was very helpful with this.
